The social phenomenon of leadership in the innovative development of social relations

In today's context, the phenomenon of leadership's social, sociocultural, and innovative aspects are not always fully understood. It ignores the circumstances under which leadership within an enterprise team can be situational and harmful, creating the preconditions for adherence to established leadership positions, which can lead to a syndrome of inflated self-esteem on the part of the leader and, as a consequence, a detached view of social development processes. In this regard, the article substantiates the need to orient leadership toward the enterprise's operational environment and its place within this environment; to changes in information and digital support for the activities of the enterprise and its structural units; adaptation to social management technologies, including the use of artificial intelligence; and the ability to «grow» human potential with a focus on future models of social development.

Social code of the economy: how invisible connections and norms determine material success

Examples from various spheres of economic life demonstrate how the “social code” influences career trajectories, consumer choice, trust in money, and market efficiency. The article draws on the theoretical apparatus of the new economic sociology (M. Granovetter, V. Zelizer) and the neo-institutional approach.

Organized recruitment as a modern tool for regulating migration processes: challenges and prospects (Case of St. Petersburg)

This article analyzes contemporary mechanisms for regulating labor migration in the Russian Federation, focusing on the interaction between labor migrants, employers, and government bodies. It examines key aspects of migration policy, including the legalization of foreign nationals, regulation of labor activity, combating illegal migration, and ensuring population employment. Particular attention is paid to the role of international agreements, such as those with Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, in organizing labor migration. Using St. Petersburg as a case study, the demographic, economic, and social factors influencing migration processes are investigated. The article notes that the city, like other Russian regions, requires an influx of foreign labor due to its aging population and structural imbalances in the labor market. Migrants fill niches in construction, the service sector, and other industries experiencing a shortage of local personnel. The author emphasizes the importance of a systematic approach to attracting labor migration, including organized recruitment and adaptation programs. However, challenges are noted, such as the high cost of patents for migrants and informal migration networks, which limit the effectiveness of official mechanisms. The activities of the St. Petersburg House of Nationalities are also highlighted, focusing on migrant integration through adaptation courses, advisory work, and analytical research. In conclusion, the article argues for the need to improve migration policy, including the creation of more flexible and accessible legalization mechanisms. This would help mitigate the risks associated with uncontrolled migration flows and promote the successful integration of foreign nationals into Russian society.

The article examines the role of «artificial intelligence» technologies in the struggle for competitive advantage between countries. The emphasis is placed on the fact that a country that takes a leading position in the development and implementation of «artificial intelligence» technologies will gain undeniable advantages in the field of development, optimization of production and the military sphere, and will become a dominant force on the world stage. It is emphasized that the technologies of «artificial intelligence» have great potential both for progress and for aggravating social stratification. The study explores the impact of integrating modern information technologies (EAM/CMMS, IoT, predictive analytics) on the efficiency of managing industrial fixed assets. Using a systematic literature review and empirical analysis of Rosstat data (2023–2024), statistically significant correlations were found between the depth of IT integration and improved key performance indicators: increased overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) by 5–15%, reduced maintenance costs by 8–12%, and decreased unplanned downtime by 15–22%. The research highlights challenges such as data fragmentation, outdated maintenance processes, and a lack of cross-functional expertise. A multi-level model for assessing digitalization effectiveness, incorporating direct and indirect benefits, is proposed alongside recommendations for phased technology adoption, process transformation, and change management. Project risks: identification and directions for improvement of risk management

Currently, significant attention is paid to project risk management in modern projects. However, the most critical element in existing risk management methodologies remains the process of risk identification, which should be developed in accordance with the principles of systematization and completeness, as well as built on a value-based and practice-oriented foundation directed towards project executors. Therefore, it is essential to accurately assess the degree of risk and manage it properly. This paper examines contemporary approaches to the identification and management of project risks in the construction industry. Project risks are defined as a key factor influencing the timeline, cost, and quality of project implementation. The analysis covers the main categories of risks—financial, technical, organizational, and external—and the most common methods of their identification: brainstorming, SWOT analysis, the Delphi method, historical data analysis, checklists, risk register, and risk matrix. Particular emphasis is placed on the role of international standards and methodologies (ISO, PMBOK, PRINCE2) and their adaptation to the specifics of construction projects. The significance of the human factor, the digitalization of risk management processes, and the formation of a risk-oriented organizational culture are highlighted. The conclusion substantiates the need for comprehensive application of qualitative and quantitative methods, sectoral adaptation, and the integration of modern digital tools to improve the effectiveness of project risk management systems.
